NKWESEKO CULTURAL TOURISM PROGRAMME
Welcome to NCTP in country-side Moshi Tanzania. NCTP is situated on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa.
It is a quiet and full of fresh air environment you can stay for a holiday, cultural activities and site seeing, traditional dishes and other business options are available on request.
The NCTP is situated in a traditional Chagga setting. Chagga is one among the main tribes that form the United Republic of Tanzania.
The NCTP is surrounded by various types of banana trees and other attractive natural vegetation.
Ideal Location.
Nkweseko Cultural Tourism Programme is located on the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro, one of the wonders of the world and found at an altitude of about 1,700 meters above the average mean sea level.
It is both a convenient environment you can acclimatize yourself before Mt Kilimanjaro climbing as well as a favorable starting point for wildlife tours of Tanzania that are found in the north to south in the country.

The income from the visitors will be used for rural road rehabilitation, dispensary construction and school environment improvement projects.

1. Honey harvesting Stinging bees.
a. You will be provided with harvesting gear at small fee.
b. You will be trained on how to participate in the harvesting.
c. You will taste the honey you have harvested.
d. You can buy some honey to take home.
2. Honey harvesting stingless bees.
a. You will be trained on how to participate in the harvesting Stingless bees.
b. You will taste the honey you have harvested.
c. You can buy some honey to take home.
3. Acclimatization.
a. Seeing cultural activities around the village that includes hiking as shown in the tour program options, above.
b. A forest tour. Beautiful scenery with indigenous trees and wild animals.

How to Get Here:
From Kilimanjaro International Airport to Moshi go via Machame road to Machame gate
Arusha Moshi road to machame gate
When you are at Machame girls secondary school
Follow the tarmac road leading to Machame gate.
Go straight on until you find the rough road turning right to Nkweseko Pr School.
Turn right on to the rough road
Go straight on until to a corner
Go straight on until you pass a church and find a road that turns right and continue straight on
After a gentle slope, turn right and continue straight on
Go straight on until you find on your left “Nkweseko Cultural Tourism and Home Stay”
